Arlington County Bail Bondsman
The Arlington County Detention Facility is one of the most technically advanced Direct Supervision facilities in the county. It was the first urban high-rise jail to be run under direct supervision within the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Arlington County Detention Facility is opened 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Aside from a daily one hour dinner closing, Magistrates are generally available around the clock to assist the community, police, and bail agents with any needs they may have.
The jail staff is on duty 24/7 to ensure the safety and security of the public, other staff, and inmates. They restrict movement within the facility from 6:00-7:30a.m. and 6:00-7:30p.m. for shift change. During this time period no bonds are posted unless the defendant is already being processed in the booking area. The bonding process generally takes 2-4 hours form start to finish. There are several eateries in walking distance as well as a movie theater which make waiting more comfortable. All Arlington County Deputy Sheriffs are certified in corrections, law enforcement, service of civil process, warrants, courtroom and Courthouse security. The facility is very well kept by the inmates as a part of their daily structure. The staff is friendly and professional while servicing the needs of the public in a prompt and efficient manner.
